Returns & Refunds

At Aussie Car Parts, we want you to shop with confidence. If something isn’t right,
we’ll work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Returns

You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order if:

  • The item is unused, uninstalled and in original condition
  • The item is returned in its original packaging with all accessories, instructions and labels included
  • You provide proof of purchase, such as your order number or invoice

For change of mind or incorrectly ordered items, return shipping costs are the
responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to change of mind returns or incorrectly
ordered items that are accepted for refund.

To avoid damage, please do not place shipping labels or tape directly onto the
manufacturer’s packaging. Please use an outer box or satchel when returning your item.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or supplied incorrectly:

  • Special order or made-to-order items
  • Parts that have been installed, used, modified or damaged
  • Electrical or electronic parts where the original packaging seal has been opened
  • Clearance or non-returnable items marked on the product page
  • Fluids, paints, aerosols and other hazardous goods
  • Gift cards

Please choose carefully when ordering these products. If you are unsure whether a part
will suit your vehicle, contact us before placing your order.

Incorrect or Faulty Items

If you receive the wrong item, a damaged item, or a product that is faulty, please
contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

Once we have reviewed the issue, we may offer a replacement, repair or full refund,
including any applicable shipping costs.

Where a product has a major fault, is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for
purpose, or does not match the description provided, you are entitled to a remedy
under Australian Consumer Law. This may include a refund, replacement or repair.

Vehicle Fitment

We strongly recommend checking all vehicle compatibility details before ordering.
If you are unsure whether a part is suitable for your vehicle, please contact our
team with your make, model, year and VIN where possible.

If we confirm a part is suitable and it does not fit your vehicle, we will arrange
a replacement or refund. If the wrong part was ordered without confirming compatibility
with us first, the return may be treated as a change of mind return.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact our customer support team within 30 days of
delivery and include:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Photos if the item is damaged or faulty

Please do not send any item back until your return request has been approved.
Once approved, we will provide return instructions.

Refund Processing

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of
the outcome.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10
business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional
time for the funds to appear in your account.

Under Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods
repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
